    OPEC to Hear Iran's Proposal on Countries Oil Quota, Make General Decision

    OPEC to hear to Iranian proposals on the countries quotas and will make a general decision, Saudi Energy Minister Khalid al-Falih said Thursday.

    VIENNA (Sputnik) — Iranian Petroleum Minister Bijan Zangeneh said Wednesday that the main goal was to determine the quotas for each country, but he does not look optimistic that such an agreement can be reached.

    "I have not heard Iranian proposal. We will hear what they have to offer and come to a consensus," al-Falih said.

    OPEC Secretary General Abdalla el-Badri also noted that countries quotas may be examined, saying that "everything is open [for discussions], we could [discuss]."
