NEW DELHI (Sputnik) — According to his daughter, the Pakistani prime minister arrived in London on May 22 for medical check-ups, needed after complications occurred during a cardiac procedure called Atrial Fibrillation Ablation performed on him in 2011.

According to the prime minister’s daughter, he will be on specific medication for the three days before the surgery.

“The recovery period & hospital stay will be one week & he will travel Insha'Allah back to Pak as soon as the doctors allow,” she added.
