MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russia is ready to find a common platform to cooperate with the United States in the joint fight against international terrorism, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov said Monday.
“Russia and the United States are permanent members of the [UN] Security Council and in line with the UN Charter carry special responsibility for international peace and security. We understand these fundamentals and axioms and of course we are ready to develop joint actions to searching for a compromise and finding a common platform in order to further continue fighting and conducting the war against terrorism,” Antonov said on Russia’s Rossiya-24 television.
