Emirates airline cabin crews are making mistakes related to the fatigue due to the state of exhaustion they are in, RT television channel said Wednesday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — RT has reviewed a number of Aviation Safety Reports containing complaints by Emirates crews who have been experiencing microsleeps and fatigue on the job.

United Arab Emirates airlines are "determined to do whatever it takes to keep flying these airplanes, even dangerously," an UAE aviation executive told the broadcaster.

The TV channel also talked with several current and former Emirates crew members, who voiced major complains about fatigue.

"Pilots [are] sleeping during critical periods of their flights," one of the Emirates former crew members told RT.

Emirates would also place the blame for exhaustion and sickness with the employees, the TV channel said citing crew member.

The Aviation Safety Reports were submitted in early April, weeks after Flydubai plane crash in Russia’s Rostov-on-Don. Boeing 737-800 crashed on landing in conditions of poor visibility on March 19, killing all 62 people on board, including 55 passengers and seven crew members. Pilot fatigue and lack of coordination have been suggested as possible causes of the accident.
