The civil aviation authorities of Jordan have proposed that Russia consider adopting an open skies policy for flights between the two countries, the protocol of the third meeting of the Russian-Jordanian Intergovernmental Commission showed Monday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Open skies is a principle that encourages the easing of international aviation regulations, especially for commercial flights.

"The Russian aviation authorities will consider the proposal by the Jordanian aviation authorities on the possible implementation of an 'open skies' policy in relation to the two countries," it was stated in the document, as cited by RIA Novosti.
