Baghdad to Support Any Decision Taken at Geneva Intra-Syrian Talks
MOSCOW (Sputnik) UN-brokered intra-Syrian negotiations in Geneva are a battle for power that is not leading to a peace settlement in the war-torn country, Rodi Osman, the head of the Syrian Kurds representative office in Moscow, said Monday.

"As for the current negotiations between Syrian government representatives and the opposition, we believe that these talks will not lead to any actual results. They are nothing but a battle for power and are not founded on any new ideas or thoughts regarding the creation of the most optimal solution," Osman told reporters.
