    US Requests Kerry-Putin Meeting in Moscow Says Kremlin

    Washington has requested a meeting between US Secretary of State John Kerry and Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to the Kremlin.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) — US Secretary of State would like to have a meeting with Vladimir Putin during Kerry's visit to Moscow, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Monday.

    "Indeed, our American colleagues have voiced a request for President Putin to meet with Kerry during his Moscow visit. The possibility of such a reception, a meeting between Putin and Kerry, is being worked out. We will provide further information regarding the timing," Peskov told reporters.
