FlyDubai Boeing Crashes in Russia: What We Know So Far
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russian Consulate in Dubai has been in close coordination with the FlyDubai flight operator following a deadly crash of the Boeing 737-800 plane over the Russian city of Rostov-on-Don, a spokesperson with the Russian General Consulate in Dubai and Northern Emirates told Sputnik on Saturday.

"We are in close coordination with the FlyDubai company. As new information becomes available, we process it and publicize it on our website," the spokesperson said.

Earlier in the day, a FlyDubai Boeing 737-800 plane coming from Dubai crashed while attempting landing amid poor weather conditions at the Rostov-on-Don Airport (ROV).

There were 62 people aboard the plane, including seven crew members. The crash left no survivors. The reasons behind the accident are being verified.
