Iraqi Kurdistan needs deliveries of "all kinds of weapons" from Russia, according to a Moscow representative.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Iraqi Kurdistan is requesting military aid from Russia to assist in its fight against the Daesh jihadist group, Aso Talabani, a Moscow representative of the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government, said earlier.

"The Kurdish Peshmerga has enough soldiers, but we do not have enough weapons such as anti-aircraft guns, small arms, anti-tank weapons and ammunition," Aso Talabani told RIA Novosti.
