    Russian Ambassador to the European Union Vladimir Chizhov said that Moscow’s decision to withdraw its Aerospace Forces from Syria was a surprise.

    BRUSSELS (Sputnik) – Moscow’s decision to withdraw its Aerospace Forces from Syria was a surprise for many in the European Union, Russian Ambassador to the European Union Vladimir Chizhov said Wednesday.

    “This was a surprise for many, though I think not for everyone. The reaction is positive,” Chizov said.
