Refugee Crisis Redefines Germany’s Politics, Weakens Berlin’s Role in EU
NEW DELHI (Sputnik) The refugee crisis is a worldwide problem that should be settled by the countries receiving refugees in cooperation with those not directly affected by the migratory influx, Paraguay’s Justice Minister Carla Bacigalupo told Sputnik.

“This problem affects all countries around the world so I believe that we all need to work together,” she said on the sidelines of the World Culture Festival in New Delhi.

According to the official, the nations to where refugees are fleeing, supported by other countries around the world, should apply every effort to provide refugees with education, healthcare and employment.

Many European countries are currently struggling to cope with a massive refugee crisis, as hundreds of thousands of undocumented migrants flee their home countries to escape violence and poverty in the Middle East and North Africa. The EU border agency Frontex recorded over 1.83 million illegal border crossings in the European Union in 2015.
