    According to a joint statement following talks between Vladimir Putin and King Mohammed VI of Morocco, Russia and Morocco are planning to strengthen cooperation in the energy sector.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) Russia and Morocco are planning to strengthen cooperation in the energy sector, including the deliveries of Russian liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Morocco, according to a joint statement following talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and King Mohammed VI of Morocco on Tuesday.

    "The Russian Federation and the Kingdom of Morocco are planning to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the energy sector, including the deliveries of LNG, construction of gas infrastructure, prospecting of energy resources, construction and operation of electricity generating facilities, and renewable sources of energy," the statement says.
