BEIJING (Sputnik) – On January 19-23, Xi is expected to visit Egypt, Iran and Saudi Arabia to meet the leadership of these countries and to discuss economic and political cooperation.
"During his visit in the Arab League's headquarters, President Xi Jinping will meet Arab League’s Secretary General Nabil Arabi and will deliver a speech dedicated to the countries of the Arab world and the Middle East," Zhang told reporters.
During the first visit of Chinese leader to Egypt in 12 years, Xi is expected to meet Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Sisi, to sign a number of bilateral agreements and to participate in a ceremony in honour of 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Cairo and Beijing.
