New Year Resolution: Putin Says Russia Willing to Improve Relations With US

The Russian president also added that Russia would be ready to work with any president the US people vote for.

Earlier US Secretary of State John Kerry said in an interview that Russia and the United States are both able and willing to cooperate efficiently despite difference of opinions.
Kerry made this comment during his second visit to Russia this year. The full interview is due to be aired on Rossiya-24 channel on Saturday.
On Tuesday, Kerry held talks with Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and President Vladimir Putin in Moscow.
