Experts Urge to Wait for Preliminary Results of Inquiry Into A321 Crash
CAIRO (Sputnik) — On October 31, an Airbus A321 operated by Russian airline Kogalymavia, crashed while flying from Sharm El-Sheikh to St. Petersburg. All 224 people on board were killed in the largest civil aviation disaster in Russian history.

Egyptian authorities questioned the head of the dispatch service as well as other executives and employees at the airport, according to the Al-Masry Al-Youm newspaper.

Kogalymavia, operating as MetroJet, had no valid contract with EgyptAir airline for aircraft maintenance and the plane was not inspected prior to taking off from Sharm El-Sheikh Airport, the Egyptian newspaper reported.
