MOSCOW (Sputnik) — On Sunday, Cameron's office said the prime minister planned to meet with the Russian president at the G20 summit.
"The possibility of a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the G20 summit has been explored for some time. We hope that, along with other contacts, this meeting will also be held," Peskov told journalists.
Last month, Russia's Ambassador to the United Kingdom Alexander Yakovenko said London had almost completely suspended political dialogue with Moscow in light of Russia’s stance on the Syrian civil war and the Ukrainian crisis.
