MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Two people were killed when a small privately-owned aircraft crashed in the northeast of the Canadian province of British Columbia, local media reported Saturday.
"The aircraft crashed on take-off and the two people on board were fatally injured," Jon Lee, a spokesman for the Transportation Safety Board (TSB), was quoted as saying by CBC News.
Both the pilot and the passenger on board the Cessna 207 single-engine plane died long before the doctors’ arrival at the site of the accident, according to the news outlet.
