At Least 38 Injured After Multi-Vehicle Crash in Canada’s West – Reports

An accident involving a bus, a tow truck and a car has injured 38 people and led to a closure of the Coquihalla Highway in British Columbia, Canada, The Vancouver Sun reported Saturday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the newspaper, the crash happened when the bus struck the tow truck, which was assisting the small red car that hit and killed a deer.

Two of the victims of the accident are currently in serious condition in hospital, while 36 others sustained non-life-threatening wounds, the Canadian daily said, citing the western state’s Emergency Health Services.

Following the three-car crash, two air ambulances and 12 ground units were dispatched to the scene.
