Russian delegation to this year's BRICS summit in Brazilian Fortaleza includes the representatives of the Republic of Bashkortostan that will host the 2015 summit in the city of Ufa.
The delegation headed by Bashkortostan Republic's acting President Rustem Khamitov will participate in several sessions within the framework of the BRICS emerging economies’ summit and learn from its Brazilian peers the nitty-gritty of the summit's organization.
Another issue on the delegation's agenda is expanding business ties with BRICS member states – Brazil, India, China and South Africa – at the regional level. For this, Bashkortostan's delegates will participate in the meetings of the Business Council set up last year and aimed at promoting business partnership between the member-states.
On July 14, Russian delegates will discuss various issues of further cooperation with their BRICS partners, including prospects for economic integration, challenges to sustainable development, trade, simplification of visa regime, legal regulation.
The sixth BRICS summit is about to kick-off in Brazil's northeastern resort city of Fortaleza.
Next year it will be Russia's turn to host the meeting of the world's largest developing nations. BRICS 2015 summit will be held in the city of Ufa – located in the southern Ural Mountains. Next year Ufa will also host the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit.
