Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko encourages early elections into the state parliament as part of his plan to bring stability to the country at crisis, the official president's website said Tuesday.

MOSCOW, June 17 (RIA Novosti) - Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko encourages early elections into the state parliament as part of his plan to bring stability to the country at crisis, the official president's website said Tuesday.

"Part-time deputies should determine and decide where they are working as soon as possible," Poroshenko was quoted as saying.

He also called for compliance with the legislation by the Verkhovna Rada deputies that work in both the legislative and executive branches.

Poroshenko also said Monday he would submit draft constitutional amendments on the decentralization of power to the parliament later this week. This move goes in line with the roadmap proposed by the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) to resolve the Ukrainian crisis via national dialogue and a national poll on decentralization.
