KIEV, March 27 (RIA Novosti) - Ukrainian ex-premier Yulia Tymoshenko announced on Thursday she would run for president in upcoming elections scheduled for May 25.
"Yes, I plan on running for the president of Ukraine, on March 29, we will hold a congress where I will ask my Batkivshchina Party to nominate my candidacy for the future presidential elections," Tymoshenko said during a press conference in the Ukrainian capital.
