Thousands of people have already lined the mile-and-a-half route to Westminster Abbey to celebrate the marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton, world media reported on Friday.
Prince William, the second in line to the throne, will marry Kate Middleton at 11 a.m. local time.
He will wear the red uniform of the Irish Guards. This decision was a surprise because the prince is a serving Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force working as a search and rescue helicopter pilot and could have worn his blue Air Force uniform.
It is likely to be cool and cloudy in London today, with rain later.
Well-wishers will be able to watch the royal wedding live on two giant screens in Hyde Park and Trafalgar Square, as well as on a live linkup on RIA Novosti (www.en.rian.ru).
