The Polish Interior Ministry said on Wednesday it would delay the release of report on the causes of the April 2010 presidential plane crash in western Russia from February until late March.
Polish President Lech Kaczynski, his wife and dozens of high-ranking Polish officials were killed when their Tu-154 plane crashed on April 10 near the Russian city of Smolensk while landing in thick fog.
The delay was reportedly caused by technical failures on another Tu-154 plane, on which Polish experts are carrying out tests to establish the causes of the crash.
The CIS International Aviation Committee (MAK) released a report on January 12 citing pilot error as the main cause of the tragedy. Polish experts and officials have criticized the report, saying it lacks sufficient evidence.
Jaroslaw Kaczynski, the Polish opposition leader and late president's twin brother, has blamed Russia for the tragedy and urged the rejection of the MAK report.
