Disarmament researcher Igor Sutyagin, one of four Russians exchanged as part of a Russian-U.S. spy swap in early July, is currently living in the home of his former coworker in London.
"We do not want to expose the names of those who are sheltering Igor now. I can only say one thing: this is one of his coworkers with whom he worked in Moscow before his arrest in 1999," Dmitry Sutyagin, the freed scientist's brother said.
Sutyagin was sentenced in 2004 in Russia to 15 years in prison for passing information to the CIA.
Under the spy exchange deal, which took place in Vienna on July 9, Russia pardoned and released four prisoners jailed for spying for the United States in exchange for ten people accused by the United States of spying for Russia.
