MINSK, March 1 (RIA Novosti) - Belarus's Foreign Ministry sees nothing new in the U.S. decision to increase the list of Belarusian officials banned from entering the country.
"This decision is nothing new for us," Andrei Popov, a ministry spokesman, said.
The U.S. Treasury announced Wednesday it would add another six Belarusian officials to the black list, which already contains ten people, including President Alexander Lukashenko. The first ban was introduced following the presidential elections in Belarus last March, which Western nations refused to recognize as legitimate.
