KIEV, February 9 (RIA Novosti) - A violent clash occurred in the Ukrainian parliament Thursday ahead of President Viktor Yushchenko's annual address.
Members of the Communist Party tried to block the way to a seat allocated for the president, expected to deliver his state of the nation speech later in the day.
Members of the pro-presidential Our Ukraine faction clashed with the Communists to get the seat back. The fight left Our Ukraine leader Oleksander Martynenko with a bleeding nose.
