By Vasili Sushko NEW YORK (VR) – Two PS 315 students that were accused of poisoning their elementary school teacher on Monday now face charges of reckless endangerment, attempted assault and criminal possession of a weapon. According to the NYPD, the two students, who are only 9 and 12 years old, put rat poison into a water bottle that belonged to their 62-year-old teacher. The teacher ended up drinking the water, and fell ill shortly after.

WASHINGTON (VR) – The death toll in the fire and collapse of two buildings in Harlem, New York rose to eight yesterday while one person is still missing, according to Vasili Sushko, Radio VR correspondent in New York.
Two people are reported dead with as many as 17 injured after a building collapsed and exploded Wednesday in Harlem, New York City, according to AFP. A fire and thick plumes of smoke have engulfed the neighborhood.
