World Cup 2014 Brazil in the Numbers: INFOGRAPH

WASHINGTON (VR) – With over 1 million people protesting government corruption, inflation, and insufficient investment in public services ahead of this year’s World Cup, Brazil is set to spend a record amount of $14 billion to stage the tournament. The hefty price tag includes $900 million for security services and the Mané Garrincha National Stadium in Brasilia, which cost over $500 million.
