"First of all, my toe loops weren't perfect, but I went for the two toe loops and the second was performed with a slip. Then I overcame my agitation and performed the Lutz having showed it at an international tournament again which made me happy. However, skating today turned out to be difficult. By the way, my compatriot Konstantin Menshov performed his program perfectly and I congratulate him on it with all my heart," the Ves Sport website (the Whole Sports in Russian) quotes Sergei Voronov as saying.

"We had a morning training session at 8 am and I skated with difficulty. To tell the truth, I was a bit scared to step on the ice again as I was scared I would have the same difficulties. But today I did my best, I guess. What's next? I don't know. We'll think about it with my coach but now I can say nothing. I'd love to take part in the World Championships. But we don't even have plans relating to further preparations. But I'm going to have a few days off, for starters," Menshov commented.
