Former CIA employee Edward Snowden is all right; he is traveling around Russia and reading books. "He is all right, he is moving around, traveling and reading," Snowden's lawyer Anatoly Kucherena said.

He said that he has not discussed the Russian naturalization option with his client.

"It is hard to say whether or not he has such plans. We have not discussed the issue," Kucherena said.

As to where the former US security service worker lives, Kucherena said, "On the territory of the Russian Federation."

US special services whistle-blower Snowden fled to Hong Kong in May 2013 and then released information about the secret Internet surveillance operations of the US special services.

Snowden was in the transit area of Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport between June 23 and August 1.

Snowden had a transit flight through Moscow but could not leave the Moscow airport because the US authorities revoked his passport.

On August 1, Snowden received a document granting him temporary asylum in Russia for one year and left the airport on the same day.
