Moscow Conservatory Student Choir triumphs at International Festival of Sacred Music, Poland

The student choir of Moscow State Conservatory has won the Grand Prix at the International Festival of Sacred Music in Poland.

The outfit’s conductor Professor Stanislav Kalinin. was also distinguished with a separate award.

The festival was attended by more than 20 outfits from Poland, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Georgia and Serbia.

The venue is traditionally attended by church choirs performing Orthodox sacred music.

The International Church Music Festival was first held in eastern Poland in 1982.
