Egypt’s College of Judges has advised the Supreme Court to outlaw the Muslim Brotherhood of President Muhammed Morsi.

The organization was founded in 1928. In 1954, the authorities banned it over accusations that senior Brotherhood members were behind an attempt to assassinate President Gamal Abdel Nasser.

After the ouster of Hosni Mubarak in 2011, the Muslim Brotherhood came into the open again.
