Two dead in suicide attack at Pakistan court

At least two people were killed and more than 20 injured when a suicide bomber blew himself up at a crowded court complex in northwest Pakistan Monday, a minister said.

Several gunmen attacked the complex in the city of Peshawar, including a suicide bomber who blew himself up, said the Information Minister for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Mian Iftikhar Hussain.

Two people have been killed and 23 injured, he told reporters, adding that firing was continuing inside the complex.

Suspected suicide bombers attacked a judicial compound in the Pakistani city of Peshawar on Monday, killed two people and took hostages, officials said.There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the operation, which provincial Information Minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain said may have been designed to free militants from a jail.
