Iraqi Sunnis march against Maliki

Thousands of people took to the streets of Baghdad and Iraq’s Sunni provinces against the “injustices” of Iraq’s Shiite-led authorities.

They claim that Prime Minister Nuri Al-Maliki and his Shiite-led government discriminate and marginalize Sunnis.

In Iraq’s second largest city of Mosul protesters attempted to capture the central square but were forced out by the police which also dispersed protests in other regions.
