Kiev rally: 6 arrested

A Kiev rally marking the eighth anniversary of the "orange revolution" ended with skirmishes between participants and police. 6 people were arrested.

According to the police, the event held at Maidan Nezalezhnosti (Independence Square) was attended by about 400 people.

After the rally ended, participants decided to symbolically "set up" a tent, by holding it up in the air, since they had no right to place a tent in the square. Subsequently, they decided to move to the opposite side of Maidan. However, the police blocked their progress, resulting in an altercation.
