Deep Purple to present new program in Russia

The English rock band Deep Purple is going on a tour of Russia with a radically updated program. During the tour the band will perform in Yekaterinburg, St.Petersburg, Moscow, and Krasnodar.

Its new program includes rarely performed compositions and songs that have never been performed at concerts before.

The band’s current line-up, formed in 2001, includes Ian Gillan (vocals), Steve Morse (guitar), Don Airey (keyboard), Roger Glover (bass), and Ian Paice (drums), who is the only musician who has been playing for Deep Purple since the band was formed in 1968.

Deep Purple’s Russia tours have become regular since the band’s first performance in Russia in 1996.
