9/11 Memorial: the story of betrayal
The National 9/11 Memorial and Museum Foundation claims that New York, New Jersey Port Authority owns it over 100 million dollars for the sold construction of the 9/11 Memorial Museum. The Port Authority claims that the Foundation owns it 300 million dollars. The back and forth financial bickering has led for the construction of the Museum to be non-existing. After years of unproductive negotiations the family members of the victims who died in the 9/11 terrorist attacks are speaking out. On Wednesday a group of 9/11 family members wrote a letter to both a governor of NY Andrew Cuomo and New Jersey’s governor Chris Christie. On that letter both were accused of betraying the people killed in terrorist attacks and urged to resolve the financial dispute that has stopped the construction of the museum.
