St. Patrick's Day celebrations in the Canadian city of London, Ontario have finished in riots. The riots began with drunk citizens throwing stones and bottles at police. They then smashed the windows of several shops and set fire to a local TV channel van.

The riots began with drunk citizens throwing stones and bottles at police. They then smashed the windows of several shops and set fire to a local TV channel van.

The riots began after a few parties, which had been going on for two days, grew completely out of control with police arresting 11 violent gang members.

The city suffered damages of over $100,000.00.
