IEA invites Russia

The International Energy Agency would be happy to see Russia as member. In an interview in The Observer Sunday, Executive Director Nobuo Tanaka says Russia would be of help in tackling climate change and energy security problems. The IEA has been around since 1974 and currently includes 28 members. All are major importers of oil and natural gas.
