Medvedev has congratulated Russians on New Year

President Dmitry Medvedev in his traditional New Year address aired in Russia's Far East has wished Russians to have all their wishes come true. President’s address comes to every family at midnight. The President said that the outgoing year was not a very easy one for Russia.

President Dmitry Medvedev in his traditional New Year address aired in Russia's Far East has wished Russians to have all their wishes come true. President’s address comes to every family at midnight. The President said that the outgoing year was not a very easy one for Russia. The President has thanked the compatriots that they are able «to stand up to blows and overcome difficulties".  "Thus, we will move forward, create the strong and modern state, a steady and sophisticated economy, and do everything to make the life of everyone comfortable and safe», -said the Russian leader. He also reminded that 2010 is the year of the 65th anniversary of the Great Victory, and has urged to take care of the veterans. «And we should be worthy of this victory», - Medvedev said. The President said that we still have many things to do. “The success of our actions depends on each of us, on what each will do for his family and for the country», - noted the President. He also urged to take care of relatives and wished everyone good luck and health.
