Many normally-shy animals have been showing up in unlikely places due to the coronavirus pandemic, including this family of deer, which was caught on camera at an RAF station by an eyewitness. Luckily, they managed to cross the runway before it was too late.

Typhoon fighter jets at a Royal Air Force station were heading along the runway and preparing to take off when a deer family crossed the runway.

An eyewitness, James Feneley, caught the dramatic incident on video.

“They must have got through a fence somehow just as the Typhoons were starting to taxi out to take off,” he said as quoted by the UK media outlet LincolnshireLive.

Luckily, the jets weren’t moving very fast and the deer made it across safely.
