An S-300 missile has exploded in the air minutes after a failed launch in Russia’s Astrakhan region.

A video of a failed missile launch emerged online overnight on Tuesday. The clip shows the rocket bursting after launch, then diverting from its initial trajectory, eventually falling near the launch site.

According to local emergency services, it was an S-300 missile, the incident took place on December 6.
