Fashion models for one of the world’s most famous lingerie brands have faced a furious barrage of criticism online after being caught singing along to a song that apparently contains a racial slur.

Victoria’s Secret models are at the receiving end of a flurry of angry comments online after a short backstage video featuring the ladies singing along to a song by Cardi B, called Bodak Yellow, went viral.

The bit that provoked the public outrage was one verse of the song, "I don’t wanna choose and I’m quick to cut a ni**er off", or rather the fact that the models uttered aloud the racial slur it contains.

Some people took a dim view of the models using the n-word, no matter how unintentional it apparently was.

Others however questioned whether  condemning the models borders on hypocrisy, or if all of the models actually uttered the slur aloud.
