No Longer Golden: Goofy Retriever Takes a 'Bath' in Muddy Puddle
As hilarious and not always appealing as it looks, dogs like to roll in wet mud. There is a variety of reasons for that, ranging from plain boredom to a desire to cool off. It may even have more primeval roots and serve as a means to conceal their scent, even though golden retrievers are hardly predators like their distant ancestors.
An amusing golden retriever has been filmed while bathing. Alas, instead of a warm and clean bath, the doggo preferred to roll in the mud, completely dirtying up its golden coat.
The pooch seems positively amused, but the same cannot probably be said about its owners, who will have to scrub the dirt from the retriever's fur.
