Catching Zzzs: Two Penguins Nap While Standing Up
Penguins are known to sleep standing up in the wild – if the only available bed was a slab of snow-covered ice, humans would probably do the same.
Two amusing king penguins – an adult and its hilariously fluffy baby – have been filmed taking a nap at a Japanese zoo while standing up. The pair look pretty chilled in the falling snow, their serene expression says it all.
"That's me waiting for a bus," joked one user on Instagram.
