Puppies need a lot of sleep - and the best option for them is to nap together with the rest of their litter, keeping each other warm just like wolves in a real pack. So it's hardly surprising they like to remain like that for hours - even if morning has broken and it's time to get up to some new shenanigans.
These little sweet golden retrievers are dozy now, as they sleep in a big furry tangled pile. But soon they will all wake up properly, stop yawning, and start running around like crazy. But for starters, they will need a good breakfast - and, maybe, another little nap after that.
