A shark swimming off the coast of Bellerive, Tasmania, recently gave onlookers quite the surprise when it ventured into bioluminescent water, creating fluorescent ripples as it swam past the shore.

Filmed by local resident Shiblii Reza Ahmed, recording of the jaw-dropping encounter captures the swell shark swimming in between boats at the Bellerive Yacht Club marina at around 2 a.m. local time.

A glow-in-the-dark shark, folks. Talk about making an entrance.
