If you ever wondered what a sudden encounter with a seven-metre long monster reptile looked like, you can now satisfy your curiosity thanks to footage filmed in Brazil.

A professional underwater videographer has managed to film a green anaconda - the largest snake species known today – while diving in the Formoso River in the state of Mato Grosso in Brazil. The camera captured the reptile resting peacefully on the riverbed. Once the snake noticed the diver, it approached him, sticking its tongue out, apparently fascinated by the videographer’s camera.
