In a statement to video distribution company Viral Hog, the video’s filmer noted they came upon the unusual race on August 28 during a quick trip to the store. “Some crazy weather created a shopping cart race in the parking lot,” they said.
While it’s clear which of the weather-powered carts won, the only true losers of this race are the parked cars that the carts may have run into later.
