A group of friends traversing the landscape of Slovenia recently got an unexpected show when lightning struck just meters away.

In a statement to Viral Hog, the filmer explains the group was taking shelter at a nearby shooting range in Muta, Slovenia, when they got stuck in a downpour. “We decided to record lightning strikes when all of a sudden one hit right in front of us,” it reads.

    Talk about electrifying.
